Staff Certification Tracking

Using and tracking Staff Certifications

How to Enter Staff Certifications into ResiDex

  • Start from the Staff Tab in ResiDex and find the staff member you wish to enter certifications for.
  • From the Option list by that staff member, select “Certifications” - this will take you to the Staff Certifications page for this staff member.
  • Select the certification you wish to track from the drop down list.
  • If the certification you wish to track is not available from the drop down list, you can press the “+” button next to the list and add it.

Enter any relevant data, such as:

  • The Certificate number
  • The date the Certification was issued
  • The Expiration date. When an Expiration date is entered, the months to Expiration field automatically fills in.

Staff Certification Notifications

Entering Staff Certifications is especially useful for administrators when they turn on the  ResiDex notification that provides alerts when certificate due dates are approaching.

To enable Staff Certification Alerts

  • Go to the Help Menu, and select My Notifications; this will open the Notifications window
  • Select the ‘Options’ button; this will allow you to configure you Notifications
  • Select ‘Staff’ on the far left
  • ‘Staff Certifications Due’ will appear on the left; select this and press the arrow pointing to the right, this will move the Notification into your personal notifications
  • At this point you can select “Staff Certifications Due” on the right, and you can then specify how many days out to display. This number is the number of days you will be alerted before a Certification is Due, so for instance, if we specify 30 days out, you will be notified whenever you have a staff member with a certification due in 30 days or less.
  • To Save your notifications, press “OK,” and close the Notifications Screen.
  • Now when you see your notifications in the future, you will see how many Staff Certifications are due in the next 30 days, if there are any.
