How to enter Sliding Scale Insulin into ResiDex
- Follow the steps to add a Basic Medication through "Specify the Days"
- In the Dosage field enter Sliding Scale
- In the Unit field enter Units
- Enter the "Route"
- Select the "Frequency"
- Select the Setup and Admin options
- You may enter "Indications" - Click Options and select the diagnosis or usage of the medication
- Enter the Special Instructions -This is where you enter the sliding scale info
- When entering special instructions you can start a new line by pressing the CTRL and Enter keys on the keyboard
- Press Tab or Save after entering the special instructions
- Enter the Administration Times in the box that appears
- Press Save
