Reordering Meds
ResiDex has the ability to generate a re-order form that can be faxed to the pharmacy. The form will be grouped by pharmacy and contain all resident names with the medications needed listed below.
To Add a Medication to the Reorder List
Start at the resident medication screen
- Right click on the medication
- Select "Order Now"
- Fill in the required fields
- Fill in the optional information if desired
- Press "Order Now"
Please Note: If a resident has more than one doctor or pharmacy, you will need to select the correct one when adding the med to the reorder list. If the pharmacy or doctor is not listed, cancel the process and add the information under the "Health Info" screen.
Continue this process for each medication for all of your residents.
To Print the Medication Reorder List
From the Resident Medication Snap Reports
- Select Med Reorder List
- Print or Close the form
After you print or close the form, you will get a message asking if you want to mark these orders as "Printed or Faxed".
Yes means - then next time the med re-order form is generated, the medications currently listed will no longer appear.
No means - the next time the med re-order form is generated, the current medications and new medications added to the list WILL appear.
