Services

E-Chart Overview

The Today screen is an interactive list of services that are scheduled to be performed for your residents. Services can be organized by time and assigned to a specific provider. In addition, you may choose to use the paper form of the Today screen called the "Daily Assignment Sheet". Services can also be assigned to a specific shift or General Provider and several caregivers can work from the same "to-do list” or "Today" screen.

Chores & Tasks

Chores and Tasks show up on the Today screen in addition to services. In this tutorial, we will look at the differences between Chores, Tasks and Services in ResiDex, as well as how to assign and recap Chores and Tasks.

E-Chart Notes

Some Facilities use Resident Notes to allow staff do document interactions with clients. The resident notes can work as a communication log to inform other staff of changes or issues with an individual. Aides can be (optionally) given access to resident notes directly from the Today Screen.

Entering Services

Entering your Residents’ services in ResiDex allows you to keep a digital record of the services  you are providing, makes recapping those services quick and easy, and allows ResiDex to autom atically generate many reports.

Edit/ End Services

You can easily alter a client's service details whenever they need to to be edited, or changed. Following this method will allow you to keep a client's service history complete, clear, accurate and up to date. It will save time during data entry

Managing Care Status

Use the Care Status field to manage a resident's status by putting a resident on hold, discharging a resident, or re-activating a resident.

'Undo' Recap of a Service, Chore or Task

If you mistakenly mark a Service, Chore or Task as “Done” on the Today Screen, you can easily undo this, and change it’s status back to “To-Do.”

Mass Service Entry

If you need to enter many services for a resident all at the same time (for instance, when entering a new resident's service plan the first time,)  "Mass" Service Entry will allow you to do so quickly.

Service Policy

Service policies are helpful to allow the caregiver to access your company's policies on completing a service.  The caregiver will be able to view on screen and/or print out the policy that is set up for any or all services.
