Medication Recap is a way to document medications: To whom they were given, when they were given, who gave them, any additional comments and notes from the Nurse or Aide that provided the Medication Assistance
Document reasons for clinic appointments, current medications for unscheduled clinic visits, capturing new orders from a doctor, and more by using Referrals in ResiDex.
ResiDex has the ability to generate a re-order form that can be faxed to the pharmacy. The form will be grouped by pharmacy and contain all resident names with the medications needed listed below.
Entering an As Needed Medication into a resident's medication list will allow documentation of when the medication was given. As needed medications are listed on the Today Screen "As Needed" medication option list as well as on the following paper forms:
ResiDex comes with a pre-loaded database of Trade Name medications associated with Generic medications. As you use the medications and forms, you must verify the accuracy of these medications. If a medication is not listed, you will need to add it to the list.
