Snap Docs
Snap Docs are reports you have created in another software program (Word, Excel) that can be accessed from ResiDex.
Set Up Snap Docs
1. Go to the Setup tab and type "Snap Docs" in the search field.
2. Select "Snap Docs - File Management Folders"
3. First specify the Server Folder Directory by clicking on the box with "..." - a browser window will pop up and allow you to choose the folder you wish to make accessible in ResiDex
4. Then you will copy the files from your local folder into the server folder. Choose the local folder by clicking on the box with "..." under "Synch Folder Path (Local).
5. To move the files to the server, click on the left-facing arrow. This will send any documents from your local folder to the server folder.
6. You can move the files from the server back to your local folder by clicking on the right-facing arrow.
7. If you want to view the files presently in either the server or local files, click on the red arrow on the left- or right-hand side of the screen.
Preview/Print Snap Docs
1. Go to the Reports tab and click on the option list next to the "Favorites" field. If you click on the blank box above the "select" boxes, you will be able to preview/print all the reports at the same time.
2. Select a Snap Docs file (you can have multiple) and you will see a listing of the reports available to you.
3. Click in the boxes beside the reports you want to print. Click on "Go" at the bottom of the screen to preview and print.
