How to use the ResiDex Today Screen to chart services, medications, chores and tasks
To Recap a Service
- Click on the service on the screen that you would like to recap.
- Enter in the number of minutes it took to perform
- If the service requires you to record vitals, enter the data
- Click the "Done" button
If the service or declined or skipped
- Enter a note as to why it was declined / skipped
- Click the "Declined/Skipped" Button
To Recap a Med Assist
- Click the Med Assist service on the Today Screen; All the meds that are to be provided in the same time frame will show up together.
- You can mark them each Done or Declined individually by clicking the appropriate button on each medication line, or you can mark all the meds in the window Administered or Declined, by clicking the button at the bottom of the window.
To Sort and Filter the Today Screen
You can use the buttons and drop-down lists at the top of the screen to sort and filter the list.
- Provider: View only the services assigned to a specific Provider
- Resident: View only the services for a specific Resident
- Date: If you have the appropriate staff roles, you can view services from a previous day
- Time (Default): Order the list from earliest service to latest service
- Resident: Order the list by Resident name.
- Unit: Order the list by unit number
- To-Do (Default): View only open (completed) services
- Show All: Show all completed and open tasks on the screen
