A Referral Report can be generated to record the reason for a resident's visit to a physician, dentist, or emergency room - but before they can be used, you should configure your preferences.
How to configure a referral
- Click on the Setup Tab
- In the Search field type: "Referral"
- Select "Campus Referral Form Configuration" on the right
To Configure Your Campus Referral Forms:
- Check "Include Pharmacy On Referrals" if you want the Pharmacy for your Residents included on their referrals
- Check "Include Diagnoses On Referrals" if you want the Diagnoses for your Residents included on their referrals
- Check "Include Billing Information On Referrals" if you want the Billing Information for your Residents Included on their referrals
- For "Referral Closing Text" Enter any custom phrase you would like to appear at the end of your referrals, for instance, "Please fax new medication order to client's Pharmacy. Thank you!"
To Add a New Referral Type or edit an existing Referral Type:
- Press the "Referral Types" Button
- Click on an Existing Referral to edit it
- To add a new Referral Type Press the New Button (or Ctrl + N)
- Enter a name, and any custom text you would like included
