Recording Vital Signs

Charting Vitals on the Resident Profile Screen

1. Access vitals from the option list located on the resident list screen (small down arrow) or from the resident profile screen (bottom right).

2. Under the "Assessment Info" heading, click on "Vital Signs".  This will open up a small pop-up screen that will allow you to enter the date and time.  Then click on "Add Set of Vital Signs".

Note: The content of this list of vital signs is dependent upon the setup of the Global Service List.  Please call ResiDex support for more information.

3. Enter the vital sign information that you collected.  You do not have to fill in every box.  Click on the x in the right-hand corner to close.

4. You can view a previous set of vital signs by clicking on "Show Previous Vital Signs".

Charting Vital Signs on the Today Screen

1. If you have scheduled vital signs, the first step is to set up the record vital service in the resident service plan.

2. On the Today screen, click on the vital sign service.  From prior setup in the Global Service List, you will see an extra box in order to enter vital sign information.

3. Fill in the necessary data and close out by clicking on "done".

4. You can immediately see previous vital signs by clicking on the word "chart" that is seen above the vital sign data you just entered (when in "show all" view).

Reports

Several vital sign charts and graphs are available from the reports tab.

1. All Vital Signs - Grouped by Day (or by Time)

2. Chart Values

3. Chart Values Aggregated by Time (seen on the Today screen)

4. Chart Values By Time

5. Graph - 1-2 Value

6. Graph - 1-2 Value by Time

7. Graph - Vitals Aggregated

8. Vital Signs (not including Blood Glucose)

9. Vitals (includes Blood Glucose)

10. Vitals Campus Summary
