E-Chart Notes
Some Facilities use Resident Notes to allow staff do document interactions with clients. The resident notes can work as a communication log to inform other staff of changes or issues with an individual. Aides can be (optionally) given access to resident notes directly from the Today Screen.
Why is this Useful?
Some users may not feel comfortable navigating out of their "comfort zone". By putting the "Resident Note" button on the Today screen, it will allow documentation right from one area. The user can enter a resident note, close, and continue recapping. Your users could also have the "Client Notes" notification selected so they could read the summaries of the residents in the last X (specified) number of days.
How to turn on this Feature
- Go to the Setup Tab; search "Campus Configuration" - select Campus Configuration from the menu on the right
- Select the category "Recap Services"
- Select "Yes" by the "Today Screen: Display Notes button" option
How to Use this Feature
- On the Today screen - click "Resident Notes"
- Click "New"
- Optionally select a note type
- Enter the note and press Save
- Close the screen and continue recapping
