E-Chart Meds
Medication Recap is a way to document medications: To whom they were given, when they were given, who gave them, any additional comments and notes from the Nurse or Aide that provided the Medication Assistance
When medication recapping per medication is used you will no longer have to use paper MARs that need to manually be completed; ResiDex reports will show the initials of the staff member who documented each medication, along with any notes entered (such as why a medication was skipped or declined.)
You can use the med recapping feature alone or turn on the "Verify" option. The verification process is a two step med recap process where one user can "verify" the correct med and dose and another user can document that the medication was administered.
Available Features
- Medication recap - recapping the service only
- Medication recap - documenting medications per med
- Medication verification and Medication recap
Note: To review the Global Generic Medications list, a user will need: Staff Role #9 - Meds and Diagnoses
Note: Reviewing ALL medications only needs to be done once. If your staff ever enters additional generic medications, then these should be reviewed as they are entered. Staff Initials also need to only be set up once per staff member.
