Referrals

Document reasons for clinic appointments, current medications for unscheduled clinic visits, capturing new orders from a doctor, and more by using Referrals in ResiDex.

Incidents

Track incidents and specific details about incidents including types and frequencies, notes, follow up notes and more.

Flow Sheets

Flow sheets, and "Alternate" Flow Sheets are very useful  to collect information on specified days, such as a recording vitals, or housekeeping tasks.

MD Orders (MN)

MD Orders are for doctors to indicate if individual residents are appropriate for assisted living. Doctors annually review a list of all of the services and medications a resident has (the MD order) and signs it, indicating that resident is suitable for Assisted Living.

Notes

You can record notes about your residents in ResiDex, which is useful for documenting information about:

  • Resident health
  • Resident behavior
  • Resident progress
  • Communicating resident status changes or other information to other staff members
  • Entering details discussed in a care conference

Add/Edit Diagnoses

You can add a diagnosis to the global list of diagnoses.

Behavior Tracking

Behavior Tracking in ResiDex allows you to assess possible behaviors, create a behavior plan, record behaviors and interventions, and summarize the documented information.

Deactivate a Diagnosis

You can deactivate a diagnosis from the global list.

Deleting a Diagnosis

You may need to delete a diagnosis for a resident if you entered one incorrectly or if the diagnosis is no longer valid.

Recording Vital Signs

Vital signs can be recorded in ResiDex from the Resident Profile screen and/or from the Today screen.  Charting vitals on the Resident Profile screen are recorded as unscheduled services whereas vitals charted on the Today screen can be scheduled or unscheduled.
