Minimum Hardware, Software, and Printer Requirements for ResiDex Hosting
Hardware
ResiDex Hosting is compatible on any computer running Windows XP or later, or Mac OS X or later.
For Windows XP, 1 GB of RAM is required (though more than 1 GB is recommended), For everything else at least 2 GB of RAM is required.
ResiDex Hosting is compatible with iPads, Android and Windows Tablet computers.
A high speed internet connection is required.
Software
ResiDex Hosting is supported on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Mac OS X.
To be fully supported, Windows (or Mac OS) must be kept up to date with all available updates

Internet Connection
To use ResiDex Hosting, you need to have a High Speed Internet connection, which is typically defined as Basic DSL speed or higher. Check your internet connection speed.
Printers
Most printers will work with ResiDex hosting with no problems, however there are some printers that we know will not work, most notably Hewlett Packard printers.
The following printers are not compatible with Remote Desktop Protocol, which is what we use to bring you Hosted ResiDex.
- ALL HP All-In-One printers.
- HP LaserJet 2600n printers
- HP LaserJet 2035, LaserJet 2035n, & LaserJet P2035 Printers

Please look and this Windows Printer Compatibility list. This is a list of printers and their compatibility with Terminal Services; your printer needs to be compatible with Windows Server 2008 R2.
