Assessment "Providers"
Sometimes in Assessments, it is required to note that "Other Providers" will be providing a service for an individual, noting that service is not a re sponsibility of the care provider, but acknowledging the resident still needs the service and that it will be provided.
The Other Provider Types (For Assessments) allows you to specify what "Other Providers" are available to provide the service (i.e., a volunteer organization, another health care provider, the Resident's family, etc.)
How to enter "Other Provider" Types
- Start from the Setup Tab
- Select “Assessment” from the menu on the left side of the screen; this will give you new options on the right
- Select “Providers - Other (Used in Assessments)" from the list on the right; This opens the Other Provider Types screen.
- Press the "New" Button at the top of the Screen
- Fill in the name of the Other Provider Type in the space under the "Other Providers" label
- Press the "Save" Button at the top of the scree, and you are done. Any time you need to select an "Other Provider" when doing an Assessment, then name you just entered will be available as a choice.
