Complete Assessment

An Assessment must be marked Complete before it is considered finished. Because of this, CliniDex only allows you to have one Assessment open for a Resident at a time -  you must finish one Assessment by marking it complete before starting another type of Assessment.

Marking an Assessment Complete

Once you have finished evaluating all of the Assessment Categories in an Assessment, you can mark that Assessment Complete by pressing the “Mark Complete” button on the top of the Assessment Screen.  If you wish, you can also choose to mark the Assessment as complete without evaluating some Categories; this is not recommended and you will get a warning if you try to do it, but it is allowed (Categories marked with an “*”, however, must be evaluated.)

Once you pres the “Mark Complete” Button, you will be asked for the date to be Recorded for the Assessment.  The current date will default into this field, but if you need to change the date because the Assessment was actually conducted on a previous day, you may replace the default date.

After this, you will be asked when the next assessment for this Resident will be due – you can specify that here, and then press “OK.” This will generate reminders and notifications later, when the next Assessment's due date is nearing.

You will also be asked if you wish to print the assessment. Signatures on printed Assessments may be required for some Assessments; which Assessments require signatures varies by State, County and Health Care organization, so you will have to verify if your Assessments needs to be printed and signed

After you complete the assessment, if you wish to change the date, or who conducted the assessment, the description or the official reason why the assessment was given, you can do this by going to the Resident Assessment Overview Screen.
