Assess. Type Setup

Turn off Assessment Occasions that don't apply to your facility.  Customize the display names of your Assessment Occasions, so your preferred names (rather than the defaults) appear on Assessment Summaries, worksheets, forms and reports.

Turn Assessment Occasions On and Off

  • Start from the Setup Tab: Select “Assessment” from the menu on the left side of the screen; this will give you new options on the right
  • Select “Assessment Types (Occasions)" from the list on the right; This opens the Assessment Types Screen

  • All of the Assessments that have the box in the “Active” column checked are enabled, and that type of assessment can be created and filled out. All of the Assessments that have the box in the “Active “ unchecked are disabled, and can’t be used until they are made active.

  • To Activate an assessment, make sure it’s box in the “Active” column is checked

  • To Deactivate an assessment, make sure the box in the “Active” column is NOT checked.

How to change the display name of an Assessment

  • Start from the Setup Tab: Select “Assessment” from the menu on the left side of the screen; this will give you new options on the right
  • Select “Assessment Types (Occasions) from the list on the right; This opens the Assessment Types Screen
  • To change the name of an Assessment:
    • Find the Assessment you want to rename,
    • Delete the name in the “Assessment Type (Your Name)” column,
    • And press the “Save” Button at the top of the screen

Note: Changing the name of the assessment only affects what Assessment Name prints on the output forms / reports. It does not change the name of the Assessments where they are referenced within ResiDex.
