CliniDex is an integrated assessment tool. Many assessments are integrated into one, the assessment elements are associated with your service plan. The assessment elements are integrated into a wide variety of reports. Assessment preferences are indicated on the sign up sheets.
How to Schedule Services during an Assessment
Fortunately most of this process happens automatically - there is very little the person conducting the Assessment need do aside from conduct the Assessment; this is because the Assessment-to-Service links are set up prior to conducting Assessments.
When an Evaluation Option that triggers a service is selected, a red link saying "1 service added," will appear in the upper right of the Assessment. At this point, the appropriate service has been assigned to the Resident being assessed; the service has, however, yet to be scheduled (when will the service be provided to the Resident), or assigned (who will provide the service). A number of other Additional details will need to be specified as well, such as when the organization will start providing the service, if it has a set end date, what day(s) it will be provided on, etc.
At this point, the staff conducting the Assessment may choose to specify these details later, in which case there is nothing else they need do aside from finish the Assessment.
However, if Staff do wish to adjust all of these details on the spot, they would:
- Click on the "1 service added" link; this will open a new window
In this window, the staff conducting the Assessment would specify the following details:
- The service's Start Date
- The End Date for the service, if any
- The time of day the service will be provided
- The day(s) the service will be provided
- What provider the service will be provided by
- Any details or special instructions associated with the service.
