How to setup and configure Assessments, Assessment Occasions and Categories, integration with the Service Plan and more in CliniDex

Assess. Type Setup

Turn off Assessment Occasions that don't apply to your facility.  Customize the display names of your Assessment Occasions, so your preferred names (rather than the defaults) appear on Assessment Summaries, worksheets, forms and reports.

Links to Services

Performing an Assessment for a resident can, based on the answers to the Assessment, schedule services for a Resident. This is extremely useful for saving time setting up a Resident’s service schedule, & keeping data consistent. This also makes creating a resident’s service plan very easy – by doing an Assessment for a Resident, you can end up creating the bulk of their service plan with no extra work. The Assessment to Service links are very flexible, and can be completely customized. In this tutorial we will demonstrate how to setup the Assessment to Service Links for your campus.

Assessment "Providers"

Sometimes in Assessments, it is required to note that "Other Providers" will be providing a service for an individual, noting that service is not a re sponsibility of the care provider, but acknowledging the resident still needs the service and that it will be provided.

The Other Provider Types (For Assessments) allows you to specify what "Other Providers" are available to provide the service (i.e.,  a volunteer organization, another health care provider, the Resident's family, etc.)

Campus Assess. Setup

The CliniDex Assessment tool is a very powerful and flexible tool that allows users to tailor the questions on their Assessments to exactly what is required in for their state, county and company. There are many features that allow the customization of the Assessments and the molding to fit individual client needs; the first of these that a client would use is the “Campus Assessment Setup” to pick specify what the questions on each assessment are.

Multiple Service Links

You can set up multiple service links for each assessment evaluation option.

Setup Assessment Signatures

After completing a Clinical Assessment, it is often necessary to have the assessment signed by the staff performing the assessment, the person being assessed or their representatives, or others.
