Posting Charges

After you have reviewed your trial invoices and made corrections, you will need to post charges to the resident accounts before you can print invoice s.

What does posting do?

When you post charges, ResiDex automatically pulls all of the billing data from Fees & Payers and other charges entered.  Then it calculates statement balances for each resident, giving you not only the list of charges, but a total of what is owed by the resident. No more charges can be applied to a billing period after you Post Charges

How to Post Charges

After you have applied all charges, and created invoice lines you are prepared to Post Charges.

  • Start on the Billing Tab
  • Click the “Post Charges Button”
  • Another screen will open, which will say if the current period is ready to Post. If it is, hit the “Post Charges Button”
  • A message will pop up saying “Done Calculating Balances”- Click “OK”
